The Emperors New Groove

This is one of my all time favorites. The Emperors New Groove is about a spoiled emperor named Kusco and a lowly llama farmer named Pacha. It all starts when the evil Yzma attempts to turn Kusco into a fly. She wanted to turn him into a fly then smash him with a hammer (obviously). The problem is the potion that she wanted to use turned him into a llama! He is sent off into the wilderness and we see the humorous reaction of a spoiled ruler now at the bottom of the food chain.
Pacha ends up helping out Kusco in spite of Kusco's constant emotional and vocal attacks at him. Once Yzma ends up finding out that Kusco is still alive, she and her loyal servant, Kronk, set out to find and kill the emperor. At the end of the story, everything is as it should be, Kusco finally learns to be a selfless person and ruler, Pacha is finally rewarded for his help, and the evil Yzma is destroyed!
This is a brilliant and lighthearted coming of age movie that never gets old.
I give it a 4 out of 5 llamas.
