A Man and His Bike: Pee Wee's Big Adventure

Out of all the Tim Burton films there were, there was one that I had been wanting to see for very long time: Pee Wee's Big Adventure. This film centers around the character Pee Wee Herman, an eccentric and child like adult who loves having fun. But when his most prized possession, his bike, gets stolen, its not fun and games for him anymore. After the local authorities choose not to partake in Pee Wee's quest to find his bike, he takes it upon himself to find it. He travels to the Alamo, Universal Studios, and eventually gets a movie made after him! Pee Wee's Big Adventure is an action packed comedy that you will never forget.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure focuses on the Man vs. Environment theme. Pee Wee has to travel and trek across America to find his precious bike. He faces ghosts, angry boyfriends, and biker gangs, just to name a few. Pee Wee has to overcome these outside obstacles in order to achieve his goal.

I personally loved this movie. This movie is filled with stupid humor, but also has a decent plot and story as well. Obviously some people will not find this movie funny, but to a 17 year old guy, its fantastic. If you like Anchorman or Napoleon Dynamite, you'll love this. I give this film an 8 out of 10.
