It's a Wonderful Life

It's a Wonderful Life is one of those classic movies everyone needs to see, hence why it is on the AFI's top 20. Starring Jimmy Stewart, this movie is about George Bailey, a man struggling to make it who wishes he was never born. God actually grants him this wish and he is able to see life as if he never existed. He learns from this that he has benefited so many people and without him his hometown would have been in the dumps.

This movie mainly focuses on the Man vs. Environment theme. George is constantly up against something bigger than himself in his environment. Whether it is Mr. Potter, the towns corrupt boss or the angry people of the town that lost all of their money, George has to fight against these forces to keep on his feet.

This movie is an absolute classic. And this is one of those great Christmas movies you can watch any time of the year. I give It's a Wonderful Life a 9/10. Go see this movie. You'll love it too.
