As it turns out, It IS a Wonderful Life

George Bailey seemed to be living the same miserable day over and over again. As the days droned on, something changed. On Christmas eve, Bailey was informed that 8,000 dollars has gone missing and he was being blamed. After Bailey returns to his home in a rage, yelling at his children and wife, he makes it clear that he wished he was never born. Bailey finds himself ready to commit suicide when his guardian angel, Clarence, appears and shows him where everyone in his life would be if he was never born. After seeing that everyone in his life is anywhere from miserable to dead, Bailey realizes that he has impacted almost everyone in town in a positive way and he comes to recognize that his life does in fact have value. Bailey's life returns to normal and Clarence gets his wings!

It's a Wonderful life has always been one of those films I told everyone I had seen but never really had any interest in watching. I've attempted to watch it almost every Christmas since birth but I've always stopped, screamed "ITS NOT A WONDERFUL LIFE!!" and defiantly stomped away. After forcing myself to power through the depression, I have come out on the other side having a new appreciation for the people around me. It's a Wonderful life has taught me that even if you feel that your life is invaluable, you've without a doubt made at least one other person's life better. I'm gonna rate this movie a 4.3 out of 5 wings.
