Z Land

Comedy Horror is a very prominent genre in today's age, but not all movies of the sort can be good. This brings me to Zombieland, a comedy horror about zombies (clearly). This movie is.... well.... fantastic. Starting with the cast we have Woody Harrelson, playing Tallahassee, a zombie mowing machine; safe to say he is not an old man for this isn't the country for him. Next up is Jesse Eisenberg, a relatively newer actor who sure proved that he could shine with his great performance as Columbus. The last honorable mention is Emma Stone, whew! Emma Stone, of course they cast a hot chick to play the hot chick roll, seems fitting right?
Zombieland shows how the world would be with only tiny shreds of humanity left within it. A rag-tag group of survivors haven't any clue how to escape so through trial they become very close knit like a family. Not only is Zombieland a good mix of scary and HILARIOUS, but there is also an aspect of romance and comradery in the most unlikely of times. Zombieland also broadens its reach to the topic of loss because, well, zombies kill people and people care about people. Zombieland is totally welcome into my library because it didn't  go the same route as a lot of comedy horrors and make itself a massive spoof. I give Zombieland an 8/10, go see that bad boy.
