The Godfather

I watched the movie The Godfather by Francis Ford Coppola. The movie is about a New York Mobster boss who gradually gives ownership of the family business to his son. The story also occurs when various Mob families were turning to narcotics and became much more cruel to fellow mobsters. The movie is full of murder with people taking out others in every other scene.
At multiple points in the movie my heart began pumping abnormally fast. One of these instances occurred when the son of the mob boss must take out two targets in public. This movie kept me on the edge of my bed in each scene. This was mainly because you never knew who would betray whom next. This movie really gave off a realistic vibe to it. The workings of a mob really seemed captured well, the director did his research.

I would definitely recommend this movie it really does deserve to be in the top twenty. All the characters are well done. The movie can make you hate people and at the same time love the close-knit family that the main family in the movie has. This movie has the theme of revenge as there are many times when people are killed out of revenge. I would give this movie a 9 out of 10 Ian’s.
