The Purge

What if all criminal activities including murder become legal just for 12 hours?  What if every citizen around you behaves without thought of punishment?  What if you have to make a decision between your family and the innocent?  This weekend, I watched a film called The Purge, which basically tells how a family struggles with making decisions and fights back against the gang.
Regarding the storyline, I cast doubts on the idea of the purge.  How can people stay sensible during the rest of the year after one night of slaughter?  Those with criminal minds not only go nuts for the purge, but also have the motive for crimes in their daily lives, which can never keep the criminal rate down in real lives.  Meanwhile, The Purge supports the idea of killing the poor and the homeless and allowing the powerful group to survive, which from my perspective, influences the audience anyway.

If I were to rate the movie, I would probably give a 2 out of 5, and dissuaded people from spending a movie night on this disappointing film.
