Die Hard 2

Die Hard 2 focuses on John McClane.  He is at Washing Dulles International Airport to pick up his wife, whose plane is delayed.  He notices some suspicious activity and ends up getting shot at and kills a guy.  Colonel Stuart takes over a nearby church and sets up equipment that he uses to take over the airport control tower.  He plans to escape with the drug dealing dictator General Ramon Esperanza and a couple other men to a different country that does not extradite prisoners to America, but their plans keep on getting thwarted by John McClane.  I liked this movie because it kept me on the edge of my seat.  I really wanted to know what happened next.  Bruce Willis did a nice job in his role of McClane.  Though this movie is almost the exact same as the first and third films of the series, it was very entertaining.  This film did a great job building suspense over and over again throughout the movie.  While its plot line is not the most intricate, it still kept me entertained.  The main theme in this movie is good vs. evil.  Good obviously being John McClane and evil obviously Colonel Stuart.  Good fights evil throughout and at times it looks light evil may even be victorious.  But as usual, in the end, good triumphs over evil when (spoiler alert) John McClane blows up the plane the bad guys are escaping on.  I would give this film a 3.5 out of 5.
